By accessing or using VersionDesk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.
VersionDesk is a cloud-based SaaS project management platform that provides tools for sprint planning, kanban boards, sales CRM, AI-powered proposal generation, git integration, team management, and related features. The Service is provided by VersionDesk ("we", "us", or "our").
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
VersionDesk offers Free, Starter ($19/month or $190/year), and Pro ($49/month or $490/year) plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis. All payments are processed securely through Paddle. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days notice.
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your initial paid subscription, contact us at support@versiondesk.com for a full refund. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued for the current billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time and will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable laws or regulations; (b) infringe the intellectual property rights of others; (c) transmit any harmful, offensive, or malicious content; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (e) use the Service to compete with VersionDesk or build a similar product; (f) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by VersionDesk and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the Service.
VersionDesk uses Claude AI (by Anthropic) to power certain features including proposal generation, insights, and the AI assistant. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and you are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VersionDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may cancel your account at any time through the billing settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data for up to 30 days after termination before permanent deletion.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
